About the Doctor

Matthew Abdoney D.M.D

Board eligible, Dr. Matthew Abdoney grew up in the Tampa Bay, FL area, and obtained his dental degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He then completed a two-year pediatric residency at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Dr. Abdoney has been practicing children's dentistry and helping serve the greater Brandon community's pediatric dental needs since 2000. He is a member of:

• the American Dental Association (ADA)
• Tampa Bay Pediatric Dental Association
• Florida Dental Association
• the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
• the Southeast Society of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Abdoney gives back to the community through public lecturing and doing volunteer work with Christina’s Smile and the American Cancer Society. Dr. Abdoney enjoys fishing, reading and golf in his spare time.
